An Unusual Proposal

Commissioned work! I was tasked with illustrating a few moments (and shenanigans) in the relationship of one lovely couple to compose an artbook, which my client would print and use to propose to his girlfriend.
My last assignment was illustrating the idealized proposal scenario: after a morning jog, on a seaside park bench filled with memories of Australian dawns and sunsets...
Then, I suggested doing a slightly suspenseful 4-page comic to increase the impact of the realization that, yes, a surprise proposal was afoot! And I'm very happy to report that they are now happily engaged (after several months of suspense due to schedule-induced delays)
